Pumpkin Weight Off

To win, you must have the heaviest pumpkin! Last years entries were gigantic - so we can't wait to see what sprouts this year. The rules are fairly simple:

- you must grow the pumpkin and get it to Ye Matthew Legacy

- pumpkin will be moved from vehicle to competitor area

- using straps and a forklift (generously donated by OCI) the pumpkin will be moved to the scale for final weigh in

- weight will be taken

- winner will be announced immediately after all weigh ins are complete and prize awarded

Pie Eating

Good old fashioned pie eating competition! It's a whole lot of fun and the energy is always so high!

The rules are as follows:

- competitors will be seated in front of a pie

- hands behind back, and remain behind back

- when signal is given, competitors will dig in

- first competitor to finish their pie wins

- winner will be announced immediately following competition and prize awarded

Prepare for a mess, cause the competition is fierce!

Apple Pie Bake Off

Nothing says fall like a delicious apple pie! We had quite the spread last year, and all competitors decided to slice it up and share their bakery quality pies with the crowd after judging was complete!

The rules are as follows:

- competitors will bake their apple pie at home, then bring it to Ye Matthew Legacy

- pies will be numbered along with their competitor to remain truly unbiased during judging

- competitors will slice a piece of pie to judging

- judges will taste each pie and determine a score

- highest score overall after judging is the winner

- winner will be announced immediately following judging and prize awarded

Hay Bale Chuckin'

You'll see hay bales flying around Ye Matthew Legacy during Harbour Fall Fest! The rules are as follows:

- competitors will line up and when their turn comes, pick up the bale of hay and line up their shot

- the hay bale must clear the pole without hitting the pole

- the competitors will cycle through until the last competitor remains

- winner will be announced when the last competitor cannot clear the pole with the hay bale

- prize will be awarded immediately following competition

Don't skip arm day, and bring out the big guns for this Hay Bale Chuckin' competition!
